For those that don't know,

quilin, or Kirin, are mythical hooved chimerical (meaning a mashup of different creatures) creatures. They're based in China and other East Asian cultures, and they're said to appear with the imminent birth or death of a sage or illustrious ruler. They're a good omen, thought to mean that a time of prosperity and serenity is on the way.

... sometimes they look like Giraffes.

Not sure why this one is being murdered, but there ya go.
